Gary Hagger

We are a small two man team including me (Gary) a carpenter by trade with 35 years experience and Jay my right hand man who is by trade a plumber with 25 years in the trade. We have a team of other trades we can call upon whenever necessary including electricians, plasterers, painters, tilers etc and can do any job that may come along.

Although always being self-employed, I have been working for the same guy for the last seven years. I was originally asked to fit three kitchens on some posh flats in St Albans. This expanded to all the kitchens in the development and then on to all the 2nd fix carpentry, doors, skirting, architraves etc. In short I ended up staying seven years which only ended recently.

I met Jay four years ago when he came to work on one of the jobs I was on. We liked each other immediately. We worked together for three years for the same guy (mentioned earlier) and then, a year ago decided to branch out on our own. We’d both decided that work had got a bit staid and repetitive and thought that we needed a new challenge to get the blood pumping again.

I live in Leighton Buzzard and Jay in Milton Keynes so we tend to concentrate our efforts in finding work to a 25 mile radius of both these places although for the right job we can be flexible.

We pride ourselves in our high standard of workmanship and professionalism and like to think that we offer real value for money.
