Ian gave me quote for the work required. He promised to complete everything in couple of day. So left him the house key and let him go for it. On day one I back home and it was nightmate. He was in panic and was blaming my walls that is old and bad for drilling holes in it. He have done only 1 door in 1 day and made like 20 holes in my new door frame. Next day he done skirting boards and it was terrible. He asked me to pay for the days he worked and never back. Still chasing him for my house key.

  Totally untrue. I advised Nik to get the walls plastered because he had removed all the skirtings and architraves and door linings after the plastering had been done and then expected me to cover all these massive gaps with the skirtings etc. Its very difficult when the customer expects miracles. I also said I would come back to carry on with The next room. I did not make 20 holes in the door frame nor did I do one door a day. Yes I did expect payment and I have said I will send the key back.

The work was OK but due to my mistake we overpaid Ian by a large amount of money. I left him a voicemail and online chat asking him to return the extra. We haven't heard from him since - so his HONISTY is in question.
