This is the 1st time I've used "Rated People" so didn't know what to expect when I placed the ad for tiling a small bath-room. The next day James contacted me and arranged to view and quote for the job at a time convenient to me. James arrived at the stated time and gave a very good quote for the job. He also suggested tiling the bathroom floor if I wished. He also said he could start work immediately as I wanted the job done asap. I have to admit my old bath-room was in a terrible state. To me it looked a very difficult job and was not a job for an amateur or for someone with limited ability. It had uneven walls that bulged in places, partially tiled with some areas of tiles removed, uneven plasterwork with holes in it but James assured me that he could do the job and make the bathroom look attractive. James started work the next day and removed both the wash-hand basin and the loo before tiling the floor. He then started work transforming the bathroom walls and covering up the previous eyesore. He worked carefully efficiently and in a logical manner and I was very impressed with the care he took and his attention to detail. Finally James secured the basin an loo to the wall and floor and reconnected all the plumbing and wastes. I have to be honest: James did a fantastic job. He transformed what was previously a dingy depressing dark room into a clean bright attractive space. Friends and relatives have also looked at his work and their opinion is highly complimentary. I have recommended James to my sister who is planning on tiling her kitchen floor and would also recommend him to anyone on "Rated People" who is lookin for a tiler who is hardworking competent efficient and very reasonably

  Gus was a very good customer to work for. He clearly stated exactly what he wanted in his toilet both for the walls and floor before i commenced work. He did have other tradesmen working in the same room as myself (joiner and electrician) and effectively time managed so we were not all in together. He answered any questions that i had during work clearly so there was no misunderstanding. He even did some prep' work before i started. Upon completion of the job payment was prompt with no "re-negotiation". Gus was both an easy to work with and friendly customer and i would definitely work with him again in the future.

  Great customer to work for. Communicated exactly what he wanted. Paid in full upon job completion. Even threw in a couple of cakes and a cup of tea :). Would definitely work for Neil again in the future.
