Thoroughly pleasant to deal with. Job turned out to be a lot simpler than I thought but it was no trouble for them and the price was very fair.

Turned up at the time they said. No messing about got stuck in, found a couple of small things they fixed with no extra charge. Well pleased with the service they provided.

Said they would come at 4pm and arrived bang on time. Did the job, spotted something else that needed doing and fixed that too. Would definitely use again.

If the Electrician is Registered, for example with NICEIC or the ECA you will be able to see their company on electrical safety register website.

If I break into the ring main and run a radial from it and fit a double socket can I plug an electric heater into it

Hi Brian If you break into the ring final circuit, put a Fused Connection Unit into the circuit. This will allow you to run anything up to 13A (approx 3kw) safely. BS7671 allows for 1no socket outlet to come directly from a ring final circuit without the use of an FCU, however this may already be in your ring circuit, to be safe run the ring into the FCU and take your Radial spur from that.
