House Extension
Sam built the brick and block walls and roof for our 40m2 first floor extension. The first thing he did was point out that a previous builder we had in had used the wrong bricks, then he found us the right ones. A good start. Always quiet, considerate, unflustered and a good choice of music. Very good at cleaning up afterwards. Brickwork is excellent: the window fitters commented on the accuracy of the openings. The price was good and was as quoted, so no nasty surprises. Highly recommended.
Pointing / Repointing
These two lads worked like Trojans, did the job in the time they said and it was a good job. Certainly a job we would not want. If there was a little 'niggle', having read on the 'rated people' website that they always left the site clean and tidy,we were a bit disappointed to fine all the raked out mortar and fallen new mortar left on the garden. Not an onerous task tidying this up but thought we ought to explain the 4 star rating for value. On the whole a good job.
