Colin did a fantastic job custom making a set of french doors and a window for us. He worked exactly to the initial deadlines he gave us and was unobtrusive in his work, with the bulk of the work being done in his workshop. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Friendly and punctual. Fitted bifold doors into a non-standard opening, so lots of shaving bits off to fit just right. Doors fit great, and he cleaned up after himself. Would definitely use him again.

My requirement was for a tailor made door and door frame to be hand made for a none standard Arch way for which I had previous quotes of £1500 and £1100 at which Point I contacted " RATED PEOPLE! I had 2 carpenters contact me from Rated-People. The first carpenter after he realised that I am a housing maanger and property inspector lost interest and said he wasnt the man for the job!! this in itself deserves merit for honesty. The next carpenter to contact me was Colin Darby of Quest Joinery. What fantastic service, Colin Darby is an unusual tradesman in that he loves his job as a carpenter, he achieved all that he promised and consulted me at each stage with suggestions and when he came across a problem due to the Arch Way not being a standard size/shape with one side not mirroring the other he consulted me immediately. He was always considerate of my home, totaly reliable and the final result is fantastic, indeed, the door and frame looked as good as any such door I have seen in a church. I will be using quest Joinery again and such is my confidence that I have recommended him to my company. Oh yes, the iceing on the cake is that he came in at half the quote of other carpenters.
