PREPARATION OF SURFACES
Whether it’s refurbishing a large three storey townhouse, or a single room, we prepare all ceilings and wall surfaces, filling and sanding all the small cracks and holes. We can also skim, or replaster, to repair damaged surfaces, or for an improved surface finish
Next we prepare all wood surfaces, doors, windows, skirting boards etc., and depending on the condition, we can use caulk, wood filler, wood putty or joint compound and of course sanding for a perfectly smooth finish.
PAINTING SURFACES
We then paint the walls with emulsion (using roller, or brush), in a matt, sheen, or silk finish in the colour(s) of your choice,
Once all the woodwork is ready we apply primers, undercoats where needed, and finally the paint finishes in a flat oil, eggshell, satin, or gloss finish. And for faster drying times and no smell, we can also use trade quality water-based gloss in a matt, satin, or silk finish.
We also provide a variety of specialist painting services and finishes and are always ready to work flexible hours to suit your needs. And of course, we do our best to keep your environment clean and protected at all times.
However big ,or small the project, we always provide a detailed breakdown with specifications, and an estimate, or a quote.

He is competitive and transparent in his pricing, proactive on the job to suggest solutions where needed, and has superb attention to detail and pride in his work. Atheca Builders and Decorators are simply the best painters and decorators I've had in the last 30 years. My two bedroom flat hadn't been refurbished since 2014. However, Thiago's and Fabio's preparation work was impeccable, every crack filled and every surface sanded and painted to the highest standard. They tidied up every day and the final cleanup rivalled any cleaning service. The end result was a beautifully redecorated flat that was beyond expectation, on time and just under budget.
