All friendly and polite, got on with the job. The roof, guttering and dormer window look great. The price was very reasonable compared to the other quotes I received elsewhere.

~A bit rough around the edges (loud music on radio at 8 in the morning in a quiet residential area) & should be more health & safety conscious (dropped some scaffold poles off the roof) but did a neatly finished job in short order at a fair price. To sum up, 'does what it says on the tin'.

We sought 3 quotations for this work, Weather-Tech Roofing– were by far the most helpful, and most realistic.  Scott took the original “brief”, then assessed the roof and loft space, and made recommendations on little ways to make the end result even more pleasing. Scott has a big team, who all worked incredibly hard in bad weather. The work including gutters, fascias and soffits took 5 days, then they replaced the carport roof. The house looks superb and the site was left very tidy. Would recommend hig

Scott Ryan & his crew were absolutely fantastic. When Scott first came, he outlined what needed doing to our flat roof, and gave us a quote there & then, and told us how long it would take. Obviously, we needed fine weather, and at the first opportunity, he rang and said they were on their way. They came, all 6 of them, and they all worked so hard, and so well together. The job was done in 2 days, and looks great. Need a roofer? Scott & his gang are great. Would recommend them to anyone.

Jane Elwine's question

I have put in for a replacement roof, have the materials and scaffolding etc. Have absolutely no idea on how much labour etc costs. If you don’t put a fair price down, no one contacts you but if you have absolutely no clue as to what to expect to be charged, it’s unfair to then get no responses. Can you at least let people who aren’t knowledgeable in any of the trades get some clue as to costing and a vague idea of what to expect? Thanks

without sounding funny it's very difficult to put a 'vague' costing for a new roof..there are hundreds of factors like type of slate/tile ,access equipment, amount of rubbish, amount of leadwork, size of roof and wether any joinery work is having said that our roofs start from a few hundred pounds to tens of thousands of pounds..hope this helps
