Having a good builder makes all the difference. Often projects evolve and change – AKA ‘growers’ – and a good builder will be able to work with you to deliver a quality finish.
My builder boxed in the waste pipe from the flat above, sound proofed it and double skimmed it. This means that in the future if I want to change my shelves, I won’t have to worry where the noggins of the stud timber frame are – I can just screw straight into the column.
