I recently had my drive block paved and some of the blocks have chips

I recently had my drive block paved and some of the blocks have chips out of them already nothing has been dropped or run over it, any ideas why its chipped?

Hi mrs Morgan This could be when the contractor compacted the blocks with the whacker plate they tend too chip or crack and chip off later. For that final phase when the block are compacted with the kiln dried sand it's always best if they attach a rubber mat too the base of the whacker plate too prevent this from happening.
