Hello Maureen, just to clarify tradesmen have to pay rated people a smallish charge to get your contact details. Hence what William and Kevin are saying.

Maureen, It will depend on what the job was and how much you indicated that you expected to pay for work, e.g. under £100, £100 to £250.00, etc. If you have priced the job too low for example you want to pay under £100 but from the description it s nearer £300.00 then no-one will buy your details to provide you with a quote. Another reason could be is that you have put it on under the wrong trade or description of work not clear. Bill

Agree with bill sometimes peoples budgets are not realistiic
