Should I attempt to rebuild small decorative garden wall myself?

Posted by Sean Evans, on
I consider myself to be fairly handy when it comes to home improvements and I have worked as a building maintenance contractor, general labourer and landscape gardener in the past with much experience mixing cement/concrete. However I have little experience of actual bricklaying. Should I consider attempting to rebuild my existing garden wall, which has no structural or retaining purpose, given my lack of bricklaying experience but willingness to give it a try prior to calling in the pros? Time is not an issue but money almost certainly is.
