Are comments left genuine?

How do I know if comments left for a tradesman are genuine?

Martin , my reply to you would be : sorry pal but you don't , you can ask the builder for contact numbers and phone them but I suppose they could speak to them first , or be friends , I do a lot of work through word of mouth my customers pass my number on , If in bout in any way keep getting quotes, Don't go with a pushy trader , ask questions and make sure you don't pay in advance , a trader may ask for a part payment if the job is a big job but should always leave at least half in the job till the end Cheep it not always the best option do back ground checks on the trader Hope this helps good luck pal

Hello Martin, How do you know that the 3 quotes you are having are not from the same people. You have to go with the work that they can show you. Regards. Michael

Hi Martin, Only someone who has hired the tradesman via the Rated People service can leave that tradesman a rating. To uphold the quality of our ratings system we also conduct spot checks on the ratings and if anyone is found to be manipulating our system, they will be removed from our service. I hope this reassures you. Best wishes, Charlotte Rated People Ask an Expert Moderator

Hi Martin,as others have already stated, when the job is completed the tradesperson will send you a rating request, you will then leave a messege on the tradespersons rated people web page describing the quality and standard of work and the service you received, these comments can not be altered by the tradesperson in any way.Hope this helps

Hi Martin think every trader there are files where information about the customer and the work done , as I do, because I give a guarantee on their work . For example, in terms of my warranty - any of my clients can contact me and if it is my professional mistake , I have to fix it for free, but such cases in my practice was not. New customer can from my list of previous work and recommendations to ask any phone , where he will confirm the specific information provided in the ranking .. On Ratedpeople all information is true , confidentiality, as in the National Bank of England. If you trust the Bank of England - trust Ratedpeople Regards Sergejs

Hello Martin, all the comments are genuine, because the tradesperson that wins the job will then ask the customer to rate them with an email, sent by rated people. regards graham

The comments/ratings are definitely genuine , only customers can leave this feedback and it cannot be changed in any way by the tradesmen. This is why Rated People . Com works so well for both consumers and tradesmen alike.

Hi Martin Tradesmen comments can ONLY be left by the customer & cannot be changed, altered or even added by the tradesman. As a customer you have the option to leave a rating & you are in full control of this, regardless if it is positive or negative. For example; if you rate a tradesman for work he has carried out for you & it is negative, it will stay on his rating page & CANNOT be removed, so you are able to see if this in that section. Regards Gary

I always request the customer verbally, by email and through the RP website. As far as I'm aware there is no way for tradesman to praise themselves! I am aware that we have the opportunity to return a comment.

All comments are left by the customers a request is sent and its up to them if they wish to leave a comment or not good or bad .
