Bay window - some bricks have slipped

Posted by Nora Dawson, on
Our house is Edwardian and has bay windows top and bottom. Four of the arched top bricks on either side of the ground floor bay window have slipped (one has come out completely). We think that this is due to the heavy construction traffic passing the house for a number of yrs now - Work on the railway line close by has just made matters worse. Could you tell me how we can rectify this please.

If the actual arch bricks have come out , you may need to re-build the arch , if they have just slipped you can repin them in with a cem tie and resin . It would be better if i could see photos to help.

Hello Nora,If you were to get a builder/bricklayer to take a look and see if it is possible to tie in the front bricks to the back using ties or a chemical resin. Graham
