Loose mortar at ends of window sills very loose and wet need replacing

Posted by Marian and Rob Boston, on
As in title. Windows out of guarantee and supplier "Not keen to do out of guarantee work". Do we need a DIY person or a Bricklayer, or should we be able to do this with patience and ready mixed mortar? Thank you so much.

Marian and Rob, By the sounds off it it looks like the jointing at the end of cill requires to be redone. DIY skills would not come under this as a certain amount of trowel skills are needed also it also takes skill and knowledge to be able to determine not just the problem but also what caused it? I would suggest posting a job and allowing several different companies to pay you a visit that way you gain extra knowledge and experience and have the option to have the work carried out should you so desire with confidence. It's a true saying " you can't buy experience " Dave.
