Marian and Rob, By the sounds off it it looks like the jointing at the end of cill requires to be redone. DIY skills would not come under this as a certain amount of trowel skills are needed also it also takes skill and knowledge to be able to determine not just the problem but also what caused it? I would suggest posting a job and allowing several different companies to pay you a visit that way you gain extra knowledge and experience and have the option to have the work carried out should you so desire with confidence.
