Bricks blown with damp proof coursing injection in them

Posted by Katie Harrison, on
Hi, some of our external house bricks have blown and need recplacing but they hold the damp proof coursing injections (plastic caps in bricks - assume this is DPC!). How can they be replaced? Does the whole brick need to be replaced and the DBC injections redone? Will this be expensive?

Hi Katie It's ok to replace the whole brick with the damp coarse in just put a real piece of damp course above it overlapping either side. You can get it from builders merchant. A 20metre roll would cost about a fiver. JC
