A trader on the site has taken £1500 from my elderly mother and disappeared they have now discontinued on the site what can we do?

That's disgusting to hear, I'm sure if you speak to ratedpeople.com they can trace their address and other details, If they won't give the details to you I'm sure the police can pursue the matter for you. Hope you catch them !
