Hi David, Most of the time if the bricks are wet while they are being layed they can’t absorb the moisture from the compo. So when the beds/perps are pointed it brings the fat the the surface so when it dries it’s a lot whiter than if the bricks wer dry. That’s why most Brickies don’t work in the rain as it’s harder to lay and it ruins the finish.
