Under the damp course the two rows of bricks stay very wet and have white salt marks and green algy on them, looking very unsightly. What can be done to improve the appearance? Also there are a few cracks in the mortar in different areas around the house I think it probably needs repointing but this is very costly? I live in the northwest.
