Concrete in water filled trench

I’m having a low external wall built and with the current downpour, we have a water filled trench. My builder said he’s happy to concrete the trench, with water and all, however I’ve had mixed opinions so wanted to now ask the experts.

Hi there Not ideal but there is a simple solution pumb it out with a dirty water pumb or simply empty it with a bucket!!
