Can I just laminate the floor and plaster board the walls

Hi Clinton no don't do that you just be throwing you money away insulation on the wall and floor

garage conversations can very, depending on construction type, and new required use. If this is something you are strongly considering then it would be a good idea to speak with a local building regulations and or architect, A small number of points to consider would be the contaminated/ sloping floor, probably with no DPM, single leaf walls & insulation, I hope this helps out
