Checking Credentials

I have had a reply from Wistaria Building Services, Clacton-on-Sea. How do I know I can trust them? They have two reviews on their website but one of these is 2015 and that is a long time ago. What can I do? I do not want to put a down payment on something that will never happen. Thank you.
