I hired someone to do a job, we signed a very generic contract. I paid him half the money to start. He was very strange and started trying to change the price. Before he purchased any supplies I told him I wanted to cancel the job. He did not do any work only an estimate. He tried to keep 300 dollars for his time. I told him no and he did not refund my money. I’m taking him to small claims court.
