I would like to know if I’m allowed to remove a wall and doorway on the ground floor of a 3 storey house (with proper structural advice) creating an open Staircase into a kitchen diner. We have a fire door dividing the area at the moment. Unsure if we are allowed to do this or if it poses a fire risk?
