We would like to open up the door between our dining room and kitchen (go from std doorway to 2m wide walkthrough) - the doorway is in an old external wall through to a kitchen extension. Presume we’d need a rsj? We aren’t going to sell so do we have to get building reg sign off? Also, any help on rough prices would be great (were in the south west). We’d need to include making good (plastering) as well as moving the light switch and a radiator. How do we go about this job? It seems that not a lot of local builders are interested as it’s a few small jobs spread over a few days.......
