We are building a kitchen extension ideally a timber frame. This involves knocking out an external wall and replacing with a RSJ. I need to. Know what size Steel, whether timber frame meets regs and what permission if any is required. If someone can spare an hour to take a look and share their advice it would be greatly appreciated.
