I would like a rough idea of the cost of covenrtimg a garage into a room. The area is about 13 square metres. The front of the garage is a door which would need to be replaced with brickwork and a window. I am seeking a ball park figure for planning. The conversion I assume incorporates levelling the floor plus plaster boarding and insulating the internal area. Also, is planning permission needed.?
