Hi, I've just had a 1st floor sandstone window lintel replaced today. I didnt get to see the builder before he left as I would have asked him about this. The lintel that has replaced the damaged one is shorter in depth and height and has left about an inch gap behind the lintel which wasn't there before. Does this seem right to you? I expected the replacement to be the same size (depth) as previous lintel and not leave a gap. Thanks
