Waterproofing garage floor

Posted by Christopher Riddles, on
I have a garage floor that has water seep up after rain, I want to get it waterproofed with as little added thickness as possible and obviously try to save money where I can. I have considered levelling it so I can put in some kind of floor covering too. So with this in mind, I've seen a product which can replace water in a cement/screed mix which makes the resulting surface waterproof so could self level with this in it, or sheet membrane and self level, or the paint on DPM. I've also seen that priming is likely required for screed/self leveller to take. Can I have some professional advice on the best course of action please? Thank you in advance
