On either side of the house we have damp in the rooms, starting above the window at the ceiling. Not sure what to do? Do I hire someone to clean the gutters first as that has not been done since we bought the place a year ago. Do I get the gutters replaced? I just don’t want to get a builder in and he tells me what he will do to make it go away then it doesn’t work. I wouldn’t have a clue if the builder is telling the truth or not. Or do I get a surveyor in to tell me exactly what to do?
