I'm looking at repointing the rear of my house which is a stone built mid terrace 1900, South facing and am unsure whether to use a sand cement mix or a lime and sand mix. I'm only repointing up to about a metre and a half up from the ground. If a lime mix then is it best to use the 3.5 or 5 hydraulic lime and what ratio. Thanks.
