Presently we have a flat roof on our extension. In ten years it hasn't given us problems but we have been lucky. We'd like it replaced with a pitched tiled roof with Velux windows installed, the present roof removed, lights re wired and readied for decoration.
This was due to be completed as part of the renovation work next door so it is partially completed.
As we need a timber frame for the roof do we ask for a chippy, a roofer, or a general builder?
