33 per cent is more than ample should cover all thats required until completion but always ask for a receipt

Hi Adam, Depending on the size of the job I usually ask for 50% when all materials are on site and I actually start the works and the balance paid when works are complete and you are 100% happy with works carried out. Hope this helps. Trevor

deposits are normally dependant on size of job 50% seems a bit high but some trades men have there own way of doing things if you feel uncomfortable with this size of deposit negotiate what you feel comfortable with and always get a receipt
