We would like to replace several internal glazed solid doors with part glazed oak veneer doors (eg Marlowe from Wickes).We need to shorten doors by about 1.5 to 2 inches unfortunately they recommend max of 20mm to take off doors. I believe they are hollow .Is it possible to trim doors more than recommended without affecting strength/appearance of doors.
