Hi Bryan, Unfortunately nothing is completely burglar proof, but secondary locks can be installed on to UPVC windows. Do you have locking handles? If not I would change these first and then install something called sash guard. We screw and bond these locks on to the window and they have a lever that locks across the window frame. This stops a break in happening from a burglar tripping the multi point lever action built into the window. I hope this helps, You can find me via Rated People if you need more information.
