hi Kate timber frame fastened to ceiling and floor plasterboard end finished with skirtingd to match if thinking of having some kind of doorway in there then architraves as well go somewhere like rated people get someone with good ratings and reviews I would say that would be a good move regards john

Hi Kate Your request is a little bit vague, could you tell me what you need to know about this wall. If you are just separating rooms then a 3x2 timber wall would be built and then plasterboard it and skim it, make sure it is fastened to the ceiling into the joists and screwed to the floor. sorry couldn't help more cheers Andy

hi kate a stud wall has two options, a timber frame or steel, internally proofing is required either for sound or warmth dependend on requirements also the finish can be dry wall or plastered along with skirtings to finish for the best advise post an advert on rated to get three quotes regards john advanced property maintenance
