How do i know if a man claiming to be on rated people is genuine?

Hi Every trade who is a member of RP have on profile with pictures etc. If you have posted a job and someone bought it RP always send a link with their profile and previous feedbacks received from customers. We do not receive any details of customer such as home addresse only tel number or e mail address to be allowed to get in touch and discuss details with customer So if someone nocked to your door and claim that is a RP member before contacting you I would refuse his service until he could proof his membership Best regards Rafal

Hi J, If you have posted a job on Rated People, we would have sent you an email containing the details of the interested tradesmen. If not, all tradesmen that register with Rated People are given a profile site. This profile site contains ratings from customers that have posted jobs in the past. This is searchable on search engines, so a quick search for the company name (and 'Rated People' to narrow search) should bring up this profile, or you can ask the tradesman directly. If you want us to have a look for you, please use our contact us form, http://www.ratedpeople.com/contact-us/contact-us-form. HI J, if he has received your details from rated people we have to specify a certain I.D which we should show to clients when meeting for the first time. You would have been notified about the specific I.D to be shown to help you verify who it is. If it is someone you have made contact with & they claim to be associated with rated people ask them for a membership number or trading name & contact rated people yourself to verify.
