Hi Joe either would be ok, a builder tends to be an all-rounder so could probably do the plastering too but most carpenters would know a plasterer. Ed

Hello,
I want to replace a wall that was removed by the previous house owner.
Basically I want a timber frame wall with plasterboard wall built to replace what is currently an archway so that onwe big room is returned to its original two rooms. Wall will need plastered, skirting boards, etc.,
Do I ask a builder or a joiner?
