The front entrance of the house (2m x 2m) needs the door replaced and also redsigning to ensure it is more secure. Currently there is a large glass area next to the door which is a bit of a security risk. Perhaps strengthened glass or more brickwork may be the answer as well as a new door.
Who do I ask for this work, a joiner/carpenter or builder? Would they both be able to offer basic design ideas?
