Should carpenter make good holes in plaster following fitting architraving?

Hi Heather not sure why you would have holes in plaster after fitting architrave unless the architrave wasn't wide enough to cover existing damage, in which case the holes should have been filled first. If this is the case it's not really the carpenters fault although he could have advised your to fill the damage or use a wider architrave. Ed
