I am intending to replace 9 internal doors with oak Shaker style doors. I am not sure whether to choose solid oak or doors with an engineered core. Solid oak is probably too expensive. I am looking for an experienced craftsman who can give me advice, visit my property to size up the job and then give me an inclusive price for the supply, finishing, installation and fitting of handles.
