How much to fit laminate flooring?

Posted by Anne McLaren, on
I want to have laminate flooring of a reasonable quality - but not high end -laid in two loft bedrooms 6x3 sq m and 4x3 sq m (approximately - hard to measure!), with beading. Most furniture will be moved out but not all (e.g.bed). What price might I be looking at? Thanks for your help.

You would expect around £500, the best way of looking at this is roughly 1 day per room plus 1/2 day for moulding. What it really comes down to time wise is undercutting the door frames to slot flooring underneath to get correct finish

Hi Anne, If you would like to put a (free) posting on ratedpeople.com (under the Trade "Floor fitters" and Skill "Laminate Flooring"), up to three tradespeople will be in touch to provide you a quote. Don’t forget to review previous ratings and the profile sites of interested companies. I hope it all goes well. Thanks, Josh Ask an expert team
