Fitted Cupboard done but not to specification - How do I fix?

I have had a wardrobe (shelves, hanging space and drawers) fitted in but the carpenter did a shoddy job, how do I fix it? How much will it cost to put in a new one and remove this? Am I better going to IKEA than trying to build something bespoke?
