Can you use fence paint on decking?

Is there any problem to use fence paint on my decking or have to look for a special decking paint.

no, do not use fence paint on decking. on the tin will specifically say "fence paint not for use on decking"

Would recommend buying a decking paint as the decking needs more protection than a fence.
