Hi all. I advertised for a painter/decorator to have a picture rail fixed to the wall, painted and underneath painted. The painter has left a mess, paint has ran onto the skirting and the plugs haven't been removed meaning they are painted around the sides. The biggest issue is the picture rail - the flat is a 1870~ Victorian tenement so walls aren't perfect, the joiner has fitted the rail as my request, 20 inches from the roof. Hes then used a spirit level meaning its 2 inches closer at the other end as something runs off. Its fairly obvious to the eye and wasn't mentioned to me (I left for work for the day) would you expect this from a joiner?
