Carpentry and joinery

Posted by Lin , on
Hi, I've had LVP 'click' planks installed in my hall, living room and kitchen - 29m square in total. I have been left with a number of problems, which the floor fitter accepts and we are now negotiating costs to correct the work and for compensation. I would be really grateful for your expert opinion about what I should ask for - I appreciate this would just be an estimate but your advice would help negotiations. Issues are, replacing three broken planks, removing half the kitchen planks and reinstalling when lump in subfloor is corrected. Replacing beading, new beading be installed with mitred edges. Replacing current door thresholds, new ones to be installed in correct position. Remove exposed nails x 2 from floor. Removed and reinstall new 3m skirting board Purchase and install kitchen cabinet plinths x 7 With grateful thanks Lin
