How do I clean indian stone?

Posted by Cirsty Greenlees, on
Hello, I'm concerned about what to use on indian stone as one product we've tried in one area in the past caused black spot and another in a different area has caused them to go green (encourage algae growth). We just used a brush and bucket on small areas then, but have a very large area which is too expensive to have done professionally. What would you recommend as the best way to clean indian stone slabs? They are dirty from exhaust fumes and dirt from the road at the front, and general dirt and occasional standing water at the back.) Is there a good, safe product (there are plants and grass adjacent), should we invest in a jet wash? Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you. Cirsty

Hello Cirsty, My personal opinion is that if you clean the area by yourself will cost you more (time, money) than to hire professional cleaning company. Also you have to invest in good high pressure jet to do the job even you use the right cleaning product. Please feel free to contact us for the free and no obligation estimate. Hi Cirsty, Yes you're better off either investing in a good quality high pressure jet wash or getting someone to do it for you once or twice a year. Especially if you have plants nearby, you don't want any chemicals too near them. Hope that helps. Dave Heron Services
