C.1550 ceiling beams bowed

Posted by David Middleton, on
Property built around 1550. A number of the ground floor ceiling beams are bowed and a couple of them appear to have damage (although this may not be new). I can see that some wood has been inserted between the beams and the flooring above in order to try and properly support the flooring, What tradesmen would I need in order to first asses the condition of the beams and identify what remedial work would be needed? Thanks.
