I have a raised patch on the inside of kitchen wall[external] looks like water has running down,no sign of damp as such.outlet pipe outside from upstairs flat?

A raised patch would have to have staining to it for it to be damp. On older properties the internal render can become detached, this will increase the occurance of condensation and make it look like water is running from it! Basically , no stain, no damp
