Damp proofing done in Feb and after 10 months the damp is just the same. He did the outside of the house only and said the inside plaster did not need removing.

It is not possible to effectively treat rising damp without replacing the interior render if there are any internal indications of damp on the paintwork. The internal render can be salt laded and will continue to absorb moisture from humidity, appearing as rising damp still! Wall will dry out at 1 mm per 24 hours per wall thickness , 240 mm wall = 240 days drying, this should also be taken into consideration.
